Queue Line and Crowd Barrier Rental in Toronto
Toronto is where our Ontario stock lives, so this is the one city where the equipment does not have to travel to reach you. Conferences at the convention centres, gala season in the banquet halls, store openings on Queen and Bloor, film and brand work that closes a block for a day — the calendar never really stops, and the same four or five items handle almost all of it.
Delivery anywhere in the City of Toronto starts at $120, the lowest minimum we have. Self pickup from the depot is free.
The five things Toronto events order most
Retractable belt stanchions carry an 8ft belt each and cover registration desks, coat checks and switchback queues at $19 per stanchion per day. Rope stanchions — gold, black or silver, with 5ft velvet ropes in red, white, black, pink or navy — are the same $19 per day and are what a VIP entrance or a reserved section wants.
Carpet runners begin at $60 for the 4x10ft size. Outdoors, 7ft x 4ft galvanized barricades are $39 each with 25lb sandbags at $15 for ballast. Sign holders and stanchion sign toppers take an 8.5x11 sheet and are $10 each.
The whole city is one delivery zone
Toronto is charged as a single area. North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York and York sit in the same zone as King Street, so an event in a Scarborough banquet hall and an event in a downtown hotel start from the same $120. Nothing is added for crossing the old city boundaries.
That charge is a round trip. It covers dropping the equipment off and collecting it when you are done, and there is no second line on the quote for the return leg. Setup is separate and only charged if you tick it.
Minimums, and when an order is too small
An order's equipment has to reach $150 before tax and delivery are added. Four rope stanchions for a doorway does not reach it on its own; four stanchions plus a carpet runner does. If your event genuinely needs three posts and nothing else, say so in the notes — that is a conversation, not a calculator entry.
Same-day is a stock question, not a delivery one
Being the depot city means the drive is short, so a Toronto order rarely fails on logistics. What it can fail on is inventory: forty gold posts on a Saturday in October are spoken for long before the Saturday arrives.
Send the real quantity through the calculator as early as you have it. A booking is only held once it is paid in full, so an unpaid quote is not a reservation — and on the busiest weekends that distinction is the whole difference between having the equipment and hearing that somebody else does.
Price it before you call
The calculator gives a Toronto total with equipment, rental days, delivery and 13% Ontario tax already in it, then sends the whole thing to us as a request. It is faster than describing the event twice.
Questions we get from Toronto
Is North York or Scarborough charged more than downtown?
No. North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York and York are all inside the City of Toronto zone, so they carry the same $120 delivery minimum as a downtown address.
Can I collect the equipment myself?
Yes, and it costs nothing. Self pickup from our Toronto depot is an option in the calculator — choose it and the delivery line disappears from your total. Bring a vehicle that can take the length; stanchions travel upright and carpet runners do not fold.
How late can you take an order for tomorrow?
It depends on what is already booked out. Send the order through the calculator with your date and we will tell you straight away whether the quantity exists for that morning — a short-notice order is a stock question, not a scheduling one.
