Stanchion Rentals in Burlington
Burlington's year splits cleanly in two. Indoors there are trade days, conferences and corporate receptions that behave like any other business function. Outdoors there is a waterfront season where festivals and brand activations run on open ground beside Lake Ontario, and the wind coming off the water is a real design constraint rather than a footnote.
We cover the city from our Toronto depot. Delivery starts at $200, the highest minimum in our Ontario map, because Burlington sits at the far edge of it.
Indoor kit and outdoor kit
Indoors, retractable belt stanchions organise registration and buffet lines with an 8ft belt each at $19 per stanchion per day, and rope stanchions with 5ft velvet ropes dress reception entrances and reserved areas at $19 per day. A red carpet runner starts at $60 for a 4x10ft, and sign holders are $10 each.
Outdoors it is barricade work: 7ft x 4ft galvanized panels at $39 each for perimeter lines, stage fronts and beer-garden boundaries, with 25lb sandbags at $15 doing the job the ground will not.
Ballast is not optional near the lake
A barricade line is a fence made of flat panels, and a flat panel is a sail. On a sheltered street a run can stand on its feet; on an open lakefront it will not, and the failure is not gradual — a section goes over all at once, usually during the busiest hour. Sandbag every leg that is exposed, not every second one.
The same logic applies to signage. A sign holder is designed to stand indoors where people read it; outside on a windy day it needs weight at the base or a wall behind it. If your sponsor boards are going outdoors, say so in the notes and we will send them prepared for it.
What the charge covers
The $200 minimum is one round trip: delivery to your site and collection after teardown, charged once. Setup is separate and optional. There is an equipment floor of $150 before tax and delivery, which a waterfront barricade run passes several times over.
Indoor season, outdoor season, one supplier
The useful thing about running both halves of your calendar through the same order history is that quantities stop being guesswork. The conference in February and the festival in July draw from the same inventory, and by the second booking we know how much of it your events actually use.
It also means a mixed event is one request rather than two. A trade day that finishes with a reception on the terrace needs belt posts inside, rope at the door and ballasted panels outside — three different jobs, one delivery, one collection, one charge.

Questions we get from Burlington
How many sandbags for a waterfront perimeter?
One per exposed barricade leg is the working rule, and on an open lakefront site that means most of them. They are $15 each, and they are the cheapest part of the order to get wrong.
Can you drop barricades along a site plan instead of at the gate?
Yes. Send the site map or describe the run in the notes and we will stage the panels where they are going to be used. It costs nothing extra and it saves your crew carrying steel across a park.
What is the delivery minimum here?
$200. Burlington is in our furthest Ontario zone, which is why it sits above the GTA cities closer to the depot. The figure covers delivery and collection together.
