Check the surface before you order
This is the question we ask Langley clients first, and it changes the answer more than the guest count does. A stanchion base is a flat weighted disc designed to sit on a floor: on a ballroom it is invisible, on a lawn it tips and on gravel it wobbles. A barricade stands on two feet and is meant to live outside.
Where the event runs from a marquee onto grass, the honest answer is usually both — rope inside where the floor is laid, barricades outside where it is not.

$190 covers delivery and collection together, charged once, with setup available as a separate option — worth taking at venues where your crew is already stretched. The equipment on an order needs to come to $150 before tax and delivery are calculated.
Rural venues need a contact, not an address
A farm property or a winery is rarely one building, and the pin on a map is rarely the gate we should use. The Langley deliveries that run late are the ones where the driver arrives at a closed main entrance with a phone number that goes to an office nobody is sitting in on a Saturday.

Questions we get from Langley
Will stanchions stand on grass?
They stand, but they are weighted for hard floors and a heavy base sinks into soft ground. On grass, either put them on matting or use barricades, which are built for it.
Can you deliver to a venue with no loading dock?
Yes. Wineries, farm properties and equestrian sites rarely have one, so we coordinate the drop with venue staff and confirm the vehicle access before loading. Put the contact in the notes.
Why is delivery higher to Langley?
Distance. Langley is the furthest zone in our British Columbia map, so the minimum is $190 — the same figure whether the venue is in Willoughby or out past Aldergrove.
