Stanchion Rentals in Surrey
Surrey is the fastest-growing city in British Columbia and its event market has the habits of one: new office towers around City Centre, hotel conferences in Guildford, trade and industry events at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, and a steady run of grand openings along King George Boulevard. A lot of it is booked at short notice, which makes availability — not price — the question that actually matters.

Openings, conferences and fairground work
Public-facing openings run on retractable belt stanchions: an 8ft belt per post, quick to deploy and easy to reconfigure as the line grows, at $19 per stanchion per day. When the crowd moves outdoors, 7ft x 4ft barricades at $39 each with 25lb sandbags at $15 take the load.
Conferences and galas want the other half: rope stanchions with 5ft velvet ropes at $19 per stanchion per day at the entrance, a red carpet runner from $60 for the photo moment, and sign holders at $10 each for sponsor and directional signage.
Short notice is a stock question
Nothing about a last-minute order costs more here — the rate for a Tuesday booked in March is the rate for a Tuesday booked on the Friday before. What changes is whether forty posts exist on that date, and that is the one thing worth asking early.
Send the real quantity through the calculator rather than a rounded-down guess. If the number is not available we will say so and tell you what is, which is more useful than a confirmed order that arrives short.
Delivery and collection
$160 is one charge for both trips — out to the site and back after the event. Setup is separate and optional, and an order's equipment needs to come to $150 before tax and delivery are applied.
One order beats two half-orders
Surrey is large enough that events here are often split across sites — a ribbon-cutting at one address in the morning, a reception at another that evening. Delivery is charged per trip, so two requests for the same day pay for the road twice.
Put both on one order and tell us in the notes what goes where. If the equipment can be dropped at the first site and moved by your team, that is one delivery. If it genuinely has to be collected and re-delivered, say so and we will price it honestly rather than discover it at lunchtime.
If the date is inside two weeks, send it anyway. A no is quicker than a maybe, and we would rather tell you today that forty posts are gone than have you plan a queue around equipment that is already on another truck.

Often, yes — it depends entirely on whether the quantity is free on your date. Send the order through the calculator and we will answer that honestly rather than take a booking we cannot fill.
Is Cloverdale the same delivery as Whalley?
Yes. Whalley, Guildford, Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale and South Surrey are one zone, from $160, even though the city is large enough that they do not feel like one place.
Can barricades be staged along a perimeter plan?
Yes, and for a fairground or an outdoor site it is worth asking for. Describe the run in the notes and the panels get dropped along it instead of in a stack at the gate.
