Brampton's event work comes from two directions at once. On the retail and hospitality side there is a constant run of grand openings, where the queue forms on a sidewalk before the doors open. On the industrial side there is one of the country's larger logistics and manufacturing bases, where facility tours, milestone days and employee events all need people routed through a working building without anyone wandering into a forklift aisle.

A sidewalk queue is not a lobby queue
Outdoors, the line has to survive weather and pedestrians walking through it. Belt posts on a hard surface hold a shape well; on a windy day with nobody standing in it, a long unattended run will not. Either keep the run short and turn it back on itself, or switch to barricades for the outer edge and use the belt posts only where staff are standing.
The other thing that catches people out is the return. Whatever goes out has to come back, and an opening that finishes at nine at night is not the moment to discover nobody arranged that. Collection is part of the delivery charge and is booked when the order is.
What the charge covers, and the minimum
