Blue Carpet Runner

$239.00 CAD

per runner, per day

Royal blue, 6ft wide and 40ft long. This is the longest single runner we carry, and it exists for the events that need an actual walk rather than a threshold: premieres, awards arrivals, sponsor activations where the photography happens along the carpet instead of at the end of it.

Forty feet changes the planning

At this length the carpet stops being a decoration and becomes the layout. Guests move along it at a walking pace, photographers need room on at least one side, and the far end needs somewhere for people to arrive at — a door, a wall, a host. A 40ft runner ending in open floor looks unfinished.

Posts are not optional here. One every 5ft down both sides is eighteen posts and sixteen ropes; a single side, with a wall or a step-and-repeat on the other, is half that. Without them, forty feet of edge will not stay straight for an evening.

Colour

Blue photographs cooler than red and considerably better under white light than under warm tungsten. It suits corporate and sporting events, brands with blue in the identity, and any occasion where red would look like an awards ceremony that this is not.

Getting it in the room

It is one continuous piece, delivered rolled, and it needs a clear run to unroll — this is not a carpet to fight up a staircase or around a corner. Check the route in before the day, and if access is tight, say so in the notes and we will plan the delivery around it.

If forty feet is more than the walk

It is one continuous piece, so a 25ft arrival laid with it leaves fifteen feet to put somewhere. Sometimes that works — the carpet runs on past the door and finishes at a wall. More often it does not, and the honest answer is a shorter runner in another colour or a route that uses the length properly.

Measure the line guests actually walk before the colour is chosen. The distance from the vehicle to the entrance is rarely the distance the floor plan suggested.

Two colours on one order

Multi-day events often take blue and a second runner together — blue for the conference day, red for the evening — and both travel on the same delivery. What that needs is somewhere dry indoors to keep the one that is not down, because a runner rolled up wet is the one problem nobody plans for.
